Elections - We have a great board of directors to lead our club into the future. President, Dave Ball - Vice President, to be voted on at next months meeting. Jimmie Singletary has stepped forward as a candidate. Secretary, Ruth Weiland - Treasurer, Fred Brewer - Hillsborough Director, Doug Ward - Pinellas Director, to be voted on at May meeting. Dale Seiter has volunteered to serve, but is unable to attend many events or meetings for the foreseeable future, but can work the phone to handle this position if there are no other candidates at the May meeting.
April events
Saturday, April 16 Strawberry Classic Car Show in Plant City. Meet at 2pm at the First Baptist Church, north side parking lot, 503 N Palmer Street, leave at 2:15 to park together. I did not make a reservation with Plant City for this show, so park wherever you can find a good place. I will not be able to attend.
Saturday, April 30 Quaker Steak and Lube Clearwater. Meet at the Rally Gas station 12602 49th st N at 2:30pm, leave at 2:45 for Quaker Steak and Lube. I will not be at the show at the beginning, but may come later.
Dave and the new board will organize and conduct next months meeting as usual at Perkins restaurant on Fowler and 50th, Wednesday May 4pm, 6pm for those who wish to eat dinner, 7pm meeting.
